2009 NLD Club Development Conference
Sunday 20th September 2009 is the date for the 2009 NLD RFU Club Development Conference. The event will again return to the Southwell Racecourse which hosted the event in 2008 with great success. The Conference this year will focus on the People & Places Campaign.
The People & Places Campaign is the foundation for Club Development. By investing in the Pillars of the games structure - Volunteers / Coaches / Referees / Facilities - we can underpin the "core business" of rugby.
The Campaign is about an increasing the quality of the rugby offer rather than focus on increasing workload or achieving increased target numbers.
The whole campaign will recognise the "ethos" or core values of rugby - Teamwork / Discipline & Respect / Sportsmanship / Enjoyment / Friendship
Further information will be sent out to all NLD Section 1 clubs over the coming months.
